My Very first cnc project

For a production of Virginia Wolf in the arena theater that I did all the Tech for, we needed the walls to look like a “tacky fancy wallpaper” So I found this floral pattern, traced the vectors, and turned it into a repeating motif. Then I used a very steep angled V bit on a CNC mill to slice the stencil out of a piece of acrylic. Deburring definitely took a while but it worked… sufficiently.

The reason it was a bit iffy is that it was not flexible… and at one point there was a thermostat.

A picture on the wall was a pretty simple solution.

Don’t think I ever took any photos of the painted wall.
