This one was kind of weird, I met someone at a bar, and when talking about how I have a laser cutter they mentioned they had a project at work and were looking for someone to manufacture this for them. They sent me a file with the desired shape of the basket and the engraving they wanted on it.

They provided the sheet of acrylic and the bolt and nut hardware. After getting approval I fabricated this box. I used mostly table saw and skill saw to cut the parts to size, then engraved it in the laser. To make the handle I used a heat gun to soften the acrylic and bent it around a form so they would be identical.

They also requested the base that would light up and make the engravings glow, so I designed and built the base personally. It was ws2811 led strips that were addressable and an Arduino micro and batteries inside the base. I reached out to them and asked what colors they wanted it to show and they requested a rainbow that would slowly cycle through like a chase.

I believe they filled the basket with prizes and gave it away at an event.
